Gourmet212 started with Askin's dream. While visiting a shop in Stockholm, Askin saw sun-dried tomatoes and realized there was a big opportunity in this market. He left his career in the telecom sector and, with support from investors in Northern Ireland, Germany, and the USA, founded Gourmet212 and other related food companies.
Our BRC-accredited factories in Akhisar are where Askin's dream came to life. Using the latest technology, we produce various Mediterranean delights in a hygienic, human-touch-free environment. Gourmet212 now exports to 42 countries, serving a diverse range of customers from Tanzania to India and Australia. We are committed to sustainability, both in our production processes and in maintaining a loyal workforce.
Gourmet212 is a gourmet food sales, marketing, export, and distribution company with five offices, warehouses, and a strong distributor network around the world. We serve various sectors, including retail, HORECA, and B2B. Our products are produced in four different facilities. Starting from seed, our farming process is controlled using high technology that allows remote monitoring in our fields and contracted fields. This is managed by an experienced, nationwide agricultural operation management team. Our products are available at room temperature (25°C), cold (+4°C), and frozen (-18°C).
Gourmet212 offers innovative, high-quality, sustainable, diverse, functional, organic, and conventional gourmet food products. We continuously introduce new products to world gastronomy with the help of development chefs and food engineers working in our Innovation Center. The rebranding of Gourmet212 marked a significant turning point for growth and innovation. Askin's move to Izmir and focus on organic farming and advanced production technologies propelled the brand to new heights. Today, with its black and gold logo, Gourmet212 is a preferred brand from Canada to Australia. We continue to bring the rich flavors of the Mediterranean to tables around the world, staying true to our commitment to excellence.
